 The Institute of Cybernetics as you knew it exists no more.
 In connection to the structural reform of the [[http://www.ttu.ee/|Tallinn University of Technology]], the institute has been closed. From **1 January 2017**, the staff of the phonetics and speech technology, control systems and software science laboratories were moved to the new [[http://www.ttu.ee/instituut/tarkvarateaduse-instituut/|Department of Software Science]] of the new [[http://www.ttu.ee/teaduskond/infotehnoloogia-teaduskond/|School of Information Technology]], while the people of the wave engineering, nonlinear dynamics, photoelasticity and systems biology laboratories were transferred to the new [[http://www.ttu.ee/instituut/kuberneetika-instituut/|Department of Cybernetics]] of the new [[http://www.ttu.ee/teaduskond/loodusteaduskond/|School of Science]].
