+Research in 2002-2007 was focused on: nonlinear waves, fractality and bioenergetics, nonlinear photoelasticity, waves in the sea environment ([[en:strukt:mech|Department of mechanics and applied mathematics]]) if IoC, signal processing ([[http://www.cb.ttu.ee/|Biomedical Engineering Centre at TUT]] until 2009) and problems of geometry and dynamics (chair of geometry and topology of UNiversity of Tartu until 2009).
