ABSTRACT. The right invertibility problem is studied for a class
of recursive nonlinear systems (RNS), i. e. for systems, modelled
by recursive nonlinear input-output equations involving only a
finite number of input values and a finite number of output
values. The concept of delay orders and the special case of right
invertibility, the notion of (d1, ...,dp)-forward time shift (FTS
) right invertibility, known for discrete-time nonlinear systems
in state space from, are extended to RNS. Necessary and suffici-
ent conditions for local (d1,.. .,dp)-FTS right invertibility are
proposed. Finally, it is shown how to generalize the special case
of right invertibility -(d1,..,dp)-FTS right invertibility- using
the ideas from the statte space theory.
