English ABSTRACT: An inverse problem to determine the kernel from the one-dimensional hyperbolic integrodifferential equation (1.1) is considered. The data include the absolute term, the initial data and a trace of a solution of the equation (1.1). Global existence of a solution of the inverse problem is proved.
