HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING ON COMPUTER NETWORK

Investigation of interoperability of broadband computer network with other network architectures in order to achieve reliable communication and high performance facilities. Developing of a computer network (ATM) in Institute of Cybernetics (IoC) should establish research and development network infrastructure for several projects of IoC like: multi-agent software engineering environments, cryptology, modelling of complex systems, speech analysis and synthesis, medical applications of non-linear control and mechanical research results, multimedia and distance education, etc.

The project concerns research focused at building up an infrastructure, technology and pilot projects for high performance computing via network. This project will increase the role of the advanced telecommunication technologies in educational process of TTU, and will grant that the developments planned are in harmony with the trends in the European Union, ensuring efficient cooperation both within the region and with the partner universities of the EU.
