The Academy Exchange Fund could be used for covering local expenses. At present, Estonian Academy of Sciences has reciprocal agreements with the academies in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, UK (Royal Society London), Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

The agreements can differ in details and the corresponding academies should be consulted for rules and deadlines.
