How to find the conference location and public transport hints
The Scientific Sessions of the Conference will be held at the Conference Center of the Nordic Hotel Forum, Viru väljak 3, 10111, Tallinn, Estonia. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, opposite to Viru shopping center (see map below).
You may reach the conference venue by public transport as follows:
- from Reval Hotel Central: 5 minutes on foot
- from airport: bus No. 2 till the stop “Laikmaa”, then 3-4 minutes on foot
- from railway terminal: tram No. 1 (4 stops)
A single ticket from a newsstand costs 15 EEK (from driver 20 EEK). A pack of ten tickets from a newsstand costs 90 EEK. Ticket has to be punched right after entering. A day ticket (24 h) costs 55 EEK and three-day card for 72 hours costs 100 EEK. These tickets can be bought only at newsstands and not from the driver.
Tallinn’s airport (or lennujaam) is a mere 3 km from the city center—about 10 minutes by car or bus.
Taxis are the least complicated way to get to where you’re staying; a taxi to the city center costs the equivalent of about four dollars. Bus No. 2 leaves the airport, from just in front of the departures hall, every 20 minutes — it stops at the A. Laikmaa stop next to the Viru Hotel/shopping centre. The ride takes nine minutes.
